About Ai Iwasaki

Ai Iwasaki is a mezzo-soprano who studied at Showa University of Music in Japan, where she earned her Master of Music. She then continued her studies in Italy at the Conservatorio Nazionale di Musica di Parma and Fortuna Opera Theatre.

In 2012, Ai co-founded Soundskool Music Cambodia and became a central figure in Cambodia’s opera scene, launching the Cambodia Opera Project and producing the country’s first full-scale opera performance.

She has performed at the Phnom Penh International Music Festival and sung national anthems at events hosted by the Embassies of Japan, Germany, and France.
