Soundskool Superstars Competition Awards is back! We are happy to announce our annual video performance competition where all Soundskool students are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Age Categories in the Competition
- 5-8 years old
- 9-12 years old
- 13+ years old
Eligible students can be entered directly by their teachers. One winner will be selected for each category.
Participating in the competition, students will have the chance to win the Soundskool Superstars Award, vouchers prizes and good quality video recording that will be published on Soundskool's social media.
Performance Details
- Any instrument, any genre
- Three age categories (5-8, 9-12, 13+), three winners, one per category
- Performance length: minimum one minute
- Format: solo or with backing track (no duet with teacher)
- Candidates introducing their name and the song title that they perform at the beginning of the video
- The recording needs to be continuous with no editing permitted
- Videos can be recorded by the candidates' teacher, with assistance of music crew (yellow t-shirt staff), or by the candidates themselves at home
- Participants give consent to have their video posted on social media
Videos submission are accepted from the announcement day until 12th of March 2023.
All the videos will be assessed by school management, and the winners will be announced on the 15th of March 2023.
The Superstars plaque award and vouchers prizes will be given to the winners on the 19th of March 2023, the day of Soundskool Mini-concerts.
The winners will be followed up regarding the video recording that will be posted on Soundskool's social media.
Importance Dates
- Video submission deadline: 12th March 2023
- Winners announcement: 15th March
- Awards and prizes giving to the winners: 19th March
