Soundskool is proud to welcome back our annual competition, Soundskool Superstars, a performance competition celebrating creativity, confidence, and musical growth across our Phnom Penh (BKK & TK) and Siem Reap campuses.

Whether your child is rocking a guitar solo, drumming with confidence, or singing their heart out, Soundskool Superstars is a stage to shine.

For Phnom Penh students, the competition is open to all instruments except solo piano, which is featured separately in our Piano Awards Competition.

For Siem Reap students, the competition is open to all instruments, solo piano included.

What Is Soundskool Superstars?

Soundskool Superstars rewards students for performance skill, presentation, and expression.

The competition includes three age categories:

  • 5–8 years
  • 9–12 years
  • 13+ years

Students may perform solo or with a backing track in any genre. The only rule: they must introduce themselves and their song title at the start of their performance. Piano solos must use a backing track to qualify or join the Piano Awards instead.

Round 1 – Video Submissions

To enter, students will submit a video performance (minimum 1 minute) through their teacher or school desk. No video editing is allowed—just one continuous take, whether recorded at home, by a teacher, or by our staff.

Finalists will be announced in the first week of June.

Round 2 – Live Performance Finals

Shortlisted finalists will be invited to perform live on stage in front of parents and a jury panel.

📅 Final Round Date: 22nd June 2025
📍 Phnom Penh finalists will perform at TK campus (2:30 PM)
📍 Siem Reap finalists will perform at Siem Reap campus (2:00 PM)

Prizes & Recognition

🎖️ A winner will be selected from each age group.
🏆 Winners will receive trophies and certificates of achievement
🥇 All finalists will receive a certificate of participation

This competition is about more than just winning—it's about building confidence, sharing music, and celebrating every student’s unique voice. We can’t wait to see our students step into the spotlight. Let the music begin!
