From there, the concert moves to Paris and the salon of Marquise Cristina Trivulzio di Belgiojoso, with Chopin’s waltzes and mazurkas—works that blend intimacy and virtuosity, perfectly suited to the salon setting.

The finale takes place in Berlin at the salon of Princess Marianne Radziwill, with Robert Schumann’s Romance in F-sharp major, Op. 28 No. 2, and the exuberant Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op. 26.
