Creating the Soundskool Anthem: An Electronic Music Workshop ft. Cécile Hinas
Soundskool is delighted to announce an upcoming electronic music workshop at our Siem Reap campus, where students will have a unique opportunity to explore the world of electronic music production.
In this hands-on workshop, led by experienced sound designer and DJ Cécile Hinas, you will be a part of a collaborative efforts in creating the official Soundskool Anthem that will represent our school at events and performances.
Workshop Overview:
This workshop is designed to guide students through the process of creating an original Soundskool Anthem, a track that will become an official piece representing our school at events and performances.
Students will gain a deeper understanding of electronic music composition, sound design, and recording as they collaborate to produce a track that reflects the creative spirit of Soundskool.
What You’ll Learn
- Composing: Students will brainstorm ideas and create melodic and rhythmic elements for the anthem, learning basic music theory and structure.
- Recording: Hands-on experience using digital audio workstations (DAWs) to record their ideas and learn recording techniques.
- Sound Design: Students will explore sound manipulation using synthesizers and effects, enhancing their tracks with rich textures.
- Electronic Composing: Students will combine all elements into a cohesive track and learn basic mixing and mastering techniques.

About Cécile Hinas
Cécile Hinas is a French musician, composer, and sound designer with extensive experience in electronic and electro-acoustic music.
Trained at the Conservatoire de Marseille, she has built a dynamic career in Cambodia, contributing to creative events, live performances, and cultural productions.
Known for her immersive approach to sound, she is an ideal leader for this workshop, guiding students through the process of creating electronic music with a unique artistic touch.
