Maurice Ravel’s Miroirs (“Reflections”) blurs the line between reality and imagination in five impressionistic movements, each inspired by different images and moods. From glittering virtuosity to atmospheric stillness, Ravel’s music invites the listener into a world of color and nuance.
Franz Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy offers a different kind of journey. Its four movements are performed without pause, creating the sense of an unbroken voyage through contrasting landscapes of sound. This work remains one of the most technically challenging and musically rewarding in the pianist’s repertoire.
