Soundskool's The Piano Awards is back! Get ready to display your piano talent at The Piano Awards. This competition celebrates the dedication and skill of our students, recognizing the best solo piano performers.

April Classical Concert — La Flûte Virtuose

Join us for the April classical concert featuring La Flûte Virtuose, a flute recital with Haruna Furukawa (flute) and Issei Sakano (piano). Experience the stunning virtuosity of the flute and its expressive depth through works by composers Georges Bizet (Borne), Philipp Gaubert, André Caplet, Carl Frühling, and Camille Saint-Saëns.

Recap March – Event Highlights

Piano Masterclass Moments ft. Maestro Yi-Chi Lu

We were honored to welcome Yi-Chi Lu, accomplished pianist and composer from Taiwan, for a special piano masterclass at our BKK campus on Sunday, 30th March.

Having performed on world-renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall and Musikverein, Maestro Yi-Chi Lu brought a wealth of knowledge to our students—sharing valuable insights on how to express different styles and emotions, even within pieces that feature repeating patterns or motifs.

His advice on tone, phrasing, and interpretation gave students and the audience a deeper appreciation for classical performance. Thank you to Maestro Yi-Chi Lu for inspiring our young pianists, and to everyone who joined us for this fruitful session!

Term I of 2025 Mini-concerts Highlights

Mini-concerts were a great success! We wrapped up term one with amazing performances all around from our talented students across all three campuses—Toul Kork, Boeng Keng Kang, and Siem Reap!

From solo pieces and an enthusiastic choir performance at the BKK branch to exciting band performances at our Siem Reap campus, the day was filled with laughter, music, and proud moments.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the students, parents, teachers, and teams who took part and made the events even more special!

Highlights from Classical Concert March – Mozart & Chopin

Last Sunday, the 30th March, we enjoyed a stunning celebration of two pillars of classical music, brought to life by the brilliant pianist, Yi-Chi Lu.

From the elegance of Mozart’s Sonata in F Major to the emotional depth of Chopin’s Four Ballades, along with Czerny’s Fantasy Brillante, the program beautifully highlighted the richness and contrast of two great musical eras.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the unforgettable evening at Raffles Hotel Le Royal. Stay tuned for the next concert in the series!
